Project Description

BSM Media teamed up with the American classic wagon company, Radio Flyer, to promote their 3-in-1 Tailgater Wagon™ with Canopy. Campaign goals included increasing social media coverage and brand awareness of Radio Flyer at select Walmart locations in order to distribute brand messaging to convey the availability of the product at Walmart and to drive sales of the product at Walmart. The Radio Flyer brand indicated a list of 20 Walmart locations to target.  BSM Media activated influencers to publish two rounds of social posts: the first photos were posted from inside of the store to boost retail awareness and drive traffic to Walmart locations to purchase the product, and the second photos displayed their families using the product in an outdoor setting to generate awareness and desire for the product. BSM Media exceeded overall anticipated campaign impressions by more than 350% and generated beautifully curated content with the 3-in-1 Tailgater Wagon™ that Radio Flyer has the ability to use in advertising and social media.

Social Spotters visited Walmart and Target stores to locate the products and share photos of products on social media. Social Spotters then purchased a Balloon Time kit and took it home to assist with decorating for their upcoming event. After sampling the products, our Social Spotters shared a 2nd photo of the product and/or their balloon décor in their party setting. Results greatly exceeded predetermined benchmarks set for the campaign.

  • Engagement rate was 5% (more than 2% above industry average)
  • Influencers provided the brand with important feedback regarding product packaging, price, and retail placement
